1. ORIENTER DEG PÅ ROMMET

• Studer rømningsplanen som sitter på døren.

• Finn nærmeste rømningsvei, f.eks trapp eller utgangsdør.

• Undersøk hvor alarmknapper og slukkeutstyr er.

2. HVIS DU OPPDAGER BRANN ELLER BRANNLUKT

• Varsle resepsjonen eller ring 112 - fra et sikkert sted.

• Hvis korridoren er røykfylt - bli på rommet.

• Ta med romnøkkelen når du forlater rommet - du kan støte på røyk på bli tvunget tilbake.

• Hvis brannen er liten - slukk med slange som finnes i korridoren.

• Hvis du ikke kan slukke - lukk døren til rommet som brenner

3. HVIS ALARMEN GÅR

• Forlat rommet hvis korridoren er fri for røyk.

• Møteplass ved evakuering er parkeringsplass v/hovedinngang hotell.

• Ta med romnøkkelen og kom deg ut via nærmeste rømningsvei.

• Ikke bruk heisen.

4. HVIS DU IKKE KAN FORLATE ROMMET

• Ring resepsjonen eller (0) 112 og fortell at du fortsatt er på rommet.

• Tett igjen ventilasjonsåpninger og dørsprekker med våte håndklær.

• Flytt alt brennbart bort fra vinduet.

• Vis deg i vinduet - tiltrekk oppmerksomhet.

• Hvis rommet blir røykfylt, åpne vinduet og luft.

• Ikke hopp - vent på redningsmannskapets instruksjoner!

• Du ser bedre og puster bedre nær gulvet i et røykfylt rom.

1. WHILE SETTELING INTO YOUR ROOM - FIND YOUR BEARINGS!

• Study the evacuation plan on the door.

• Make a mental note of where the nearest emergency exit is.

• Make a mental note of where the alarm and fire extingusiher are.

2. IF YOU DISCOVER A FIRE OR SMELL SMOKE

• Alert the hotels staff or telephone the emergency number - 112 - from a safe place.

• If the corridor is filled with smoke, stay in the room

• Take the room key with you if you leave the room. You may need it to return if your escape is blocked or another obstacle.

• If the fire is small and limited - use the fire hose in the corridor

• If it is not possible to extinguish the fire, close the door of the room that is on fire.

3. IF THE ALARM RINGS

• Leave the room if the corridor is free of smoke.

• Assembly point of evacutaion is the parking lot in hotels front.

• Take the room key with you and make your way to the nearest emergency exit.

• Do not use the lift.

4. IF YOU CANNOT LEAVE THE ROOM

• Telephone the front desk or 112 and say that you’re still in the room.

• Block ventilation grills and gaps under doors with wet towels.

• Move all inflammable materials away from the windows.

• Stand near a window and try to attract attention from the outside.

• If the room starts to fill with smoke, open a windows.

• Do not jump - wait for instructions from the emergency services.

• In a smoke-filled room you will be able to see better near the floor.
